DESCRIPTION:A Sandy Hill Arts Residency  –  30th January-5th February 2023\nFrances Hatch and Sue Lansbury will spend six days, between dawn and dusk, at Sandy Hill Arts to encounter whatever arises alongside a waxing moon and slowly lengthening daylight.\n\nThey come with no assumptions about outcome, medium or methodologies. Their primary concern is to attend to whatever the land, the season and the time offer.\nTheir interest in working together in relationship with the more-than-human community in this way arises from their shared interest in, and study of contemporary animism, which already informs their individual art practices.\nVisitors are welcome to visit Sue and Frances in the exhibition space on Sunday the 5th of February 2023 from 14:00.\nAt 16:30 (weather permitting ) on 5th February there will be a gathering around an open fire to chat about the week as a full moon rises over the valley.
