We’ll have a bar too, performance from 7:30pm.\nWe’re delighted that Pop-up Bowie, aka Paul Antony, who wowed us last year, will be back on the SHA stage. Paul performs the greatest hits of David Bowie, from every era of the iconic artist’s career, from the 70s through to the nineties and beyond. Moreover, he’s top fun – come and sing and dance!\n‘For anyone who enjoys a great David Bowie tribute, Paul Antony presents the clinching argument as to exactly why he won the Bowie tribute award, as soon as he walks out onstage and begins to sing!’- ‘The Stage’.\nAnd we’ve got even more entertainment for you… Stand-up poet, comedian, broadcaster and armchair revolutionary, Elvis McGonagall returns to Purbeck for a warm August evening extravaganza. A regular of BBC Radio 4, Elvis is well known for his energetic performances full of wit, intelligence and imagination. People have said of him “bitingly satirical, irreverent, intelligent and laugh-out-loud funny, Elvis has deservedly earned a reputation as one of UK performance poetry’s most cherished stars” – and who are we to argue?\nWe have also allocated some complimentary tickets for carers that are accompanying an audience member that requires assistance.
