Backed by world-class musicians, his Jazz Collective revives the art of live performance and celebrates the golden age of jazz through unique renditions of the Great American Songbook, as well as the band’s own original compositions.\nDylan gives the classic ‘leading vocalist’ style a contemporary edge, bringing these songs to life with an emphasis on the lyrics and sophisticated drama while his band blends intelligent improvisation with modern flair and classical sensitivity. Together, their virtuosity and chemistry transport the audience to that world of refined excitement we associate with the great idols of jazz.\n\n\n\n\nPaul Kelly, Chair of Swanage Jazz Festival, says:\n“Male jazz singers are in a minority, so it’s always interesting to hear one, especially one who has the tone and phrasing of some of the very best from the past.
