Banned on its release as obscene, it is now seen as one of the greatest and most influential works in literature.\nImmerse yourself in the music, images, voices, food and drink that all live within the words of this remarkable and life-affirming text.\nThe evening will include an introduction and guide to the text, readings, discussion and of course Irish whisky, music and Guinness, before we are taken out into the night by Joyce himself.\nBar and library open from 6pm\nTalks and readings 7 – 10.30pm\n\n\n\n\n
