SUMMARY:Hopefool- a play performed by Vita Nova
DESCRIPTION:Hopefool by  local playwright Sharon Coyne is a play for young people and adults that promotes peace in a time of conflict. For young people especially, witnessing the horror of war from around the world, can evoke a sense of hopelessness. Hopefool is about reminding people that we do have a voice and we can make a difference however small in promoting unity and love.\n\n\n“Very thoughtful. Made a complex issue very simple”\n\n\n“Utterly marvellous, perfect, powerful and full of heart. Please come back!”\n\n\nHopefool is performed by Vita Nova’s group ‘Celeste’ which is made up of those in addiction recovery and people with English as a second language, including refugees and asylum seekers who have overcome real struggles.\n\nThe performance is free but donations on the day will go to supporting the work of Vita Nova, a local arts charity, theatre company and recovery community that is energised and sustained by the passion of their members and volunteers who help people across our community better understand addiction through education, positive action and compassion.\n\nPlease book your free place by visiting www.vitanova.co.uk/events ( http://www.vitanova.co.uk/events )\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nDr Sharon Coyne is an applied theatre practitioner, playwright and Artistic Director of Vita Nova, a community theatre group for those in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse.\nWorking with marginalised communities, she sees theatre as a way of celebrating those who have often been left behind.she is Theatre Officer for National Drama.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n
