DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nBack by popular demand ! We were truly wowed by Sahra and Theo last year and just had to have them back so the rest of you have a chance to witness what we did! DO NOT MISS THIS GIG!\nSahra and Theo are a husband and wife duo, playing improvised and free spiritual jazz with a folkloric sensibility.\n SAHRA is an eclectic vocalist, pianist and producer who has worked with some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians including Orphy Robinson, Cleveland Watkiss, Ashley Henry and many more. Her solo project has gained support from: COLORS, BBC 2’s Sara Cox, BBC 1’s Victoria Jane, BBC 6’s Gilles Peterson and Clash Magazine to name a few. Exuding mysticism and an undeniable artistic flair, she is able to express her individuality through stories, commanding attention with her rich and faultless voice.\nTheo Erskine is a saxophonist, recording engineer and music producer based in south London. Over the years he has worked with a range of different artists including Oscar Jerome, Hidden Spheres and Wilma Archer. He currently plays with Mark Kavuma and the Banger Factory and is a key member of Banger factory Records. \nThe couple met soon after lockdown. Playing, practising and listening to music together soon became a key part of their love affair. They were married in June 2025.
