Bill Merrick gig

Guitarist Bill Merrick from the Isle of Purbeck will be performing a solo concert after spending a year in the jungles of Peru. 

The result is a set of original compositions that move between fingerstyle guitar instrumentals and quietly delivered songs. The pieces draw from folk traditions, open-tuned guitar landscapes, and the stories from the jungle. Conversations with the plants, reflections from the characters and their stories; the rag-tag existence of the servants of the rainbow.

This solo concert is a space for listening; a collection of musical sketches and stories from a year spent close to the jungle.
