Andy Farrer
Andy Farrer is an award-winning landscape photographer, tutor and fine art printer based on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. Best known for his atmospheric images of the Jurassic Coast and surrounding landscapes, Andy has spent more than three decades working in photography and building a deep connection with the natural world.
In 2015 he was named overall winner of Landscape Photographer of the Year, one of the UK’s most prestigious photography awards, with his image Bat’s Head in the Snow. In 2025 he joined the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP), qualifying as an Associate in his first year and gaining 1st, 2nd and 5th place awards in the International Print Masters competition in the Landscape category.
Andy works from Studio 21 at Sandy Hill Arts in Corfe Castle, where he produces museum-quality fine art prints of his own photography and provides professional fine art printing and artwork scanning services for photographers and artists. His studio has become a hub for artists looking to create exhibition-quality prints of their work.
Alongside his own photography, Andy runs photography workshops, mentoring and tuition both locally and internationally, helping photographers develop their creative vision and learn the craft of producing beautiful finished prints.
