We were delighted to host this Purbeck Youth Music performance launching the Camillus Camilli string project and thanking Tony Viney - who set up Sandy Hill Arts - for his donation to fund the project. On June 4th we gathered at Sandy Hill Arts, behind the station in Corfe Castle, to celebrate our special guest Tony Viney, along with family members and many of his long-standing local friends from the musical and artistic community. Tony had recently donated to Purbeck Youth Music a considerable sum from the proceeds of the sale of his Camillus Camilli violin; this was a chance for all involved to extend their thanks and appreciation for his support. Rob Mills and the Trackside Co-optimists playing as part of an end-of-season volunteer 'thank you' party in November 2022 - Bonfire Night. We had three acts, baked potatoes and an excellent veggie chilli, and various fire pits under a clear, bright - and very brisk - sky. It's not that often you can sing Harvest Moon and point up at it... :-)
