Everything is colour.

I moved to The Isle of Purbeck from Oxfordshire, after a career in Arts Education. Parallel to this, l exhibited work using photography as the main medium to investigate a personal inquiry of past, present and future and what that means in a family context.

Now, exploring this new environment, l can’t help but be influenced by the open skies and overwhelming landscapes. This gives me the opportunity to revisit an affection for painting; to find ways to represent the emotionality of the moment and prize out what the unconscious mind will surrender.

This delivery and experience by the hypnotic and ever fluctuating spectrum of light, fills a preoccupation with the placement of these fleeting combinations using the visceral application of oil paint onto a surface.
