An evening of Purbeck inspired songs by Glenn Ross and friends, including The Ohlson Family Roadshow
TICKETS ON THE DOOR OR ONLINE
Glenn Ross is a Purbeck based songwriter and guitarist whose music has been featured on BBC Introducing, BBC Scotland and That’s TV Manchester, as well as local and international radio stations. For this performance, he would like to share his poetically penned songs about the outstanding Purbeck locality,
Glenn will be joined by clarinettist Jimmy Monahan, and singer Emma Fidler and together they will perform new arrangements of his songs, nestled beneath Corfe Castle and Challow Hill- a perfect summer evening.
In addition, we are delighted to welcome from New Orleans The Ohlson Family Roadshow

The Ohlson Family Roadshow are a group of 4 musicians who have been working in New Orleans over the last 10-20 years playing early jazz celebrating the joyful energy of the newly emancipated black community and some original songs in a similar style just spreading joy or addressing important issues in the contemporary world. The music is an uplifting, beautiful remedy to the stress from today’s ills and a wonderful escape into a world of skilfully expressed artistic wonderment.
These incredible professional musicians who have dedicated their lives to the craft and technical skill will astound and delight you:
John Joyce – contrabass and vocals
Kyle Ohlson – clarinet, saxophone and vocals
Jimbino Vegan – clarinet, guitar and vocals
Tyler Westkott – guitar, vocals and very tight cowboy pants
To campaign for a greener future and to reach people they would not meet normally they are doing their tour in England this summer by cycle.
They look forward to playing in Corfe Castle for you all!
