Big Byrd & The Good Beast

The Good Beast is a six-piece whirlpool of crunching psychedelic rock that will blow your aura to next Wednesday. They have worked in various formations for a decade and now come together as The Good Beast. The music moves gracefully through the waters of psych-rock, folk and jazz. Influenced by bands like Tame Impala, Wolf Alice, Kruangbin, The Incredible String Band, Pink Floyd, Patti Smith, Eva Cassidy, and Grateful Dead.

BigByrd are a blend of heavy psych, driving grooves and sludgy riffs. Currently based in Bristol, this genre-defying trio hails from the rugged Jurassic Coast of Dorset. Their music, which includes elements of open improvisation, is dynamic and high energy, swinging from gut-busting riffs to soulful meandering jams.

Together, Good Beast and The BigByrd will take you on a musical journey like no other.
