Join Sayoko Takahata, an artist studying painting in a practice based PhD at AUB, for an exhibition of the work produced during her recent residency at Sandy Hill and a talk about the Japanese concept of ‘Ma’ which informs her practice and focuses on the importance of the gap, negative space and in-between emptiness.
