Soothsayers

Formed in South London over 20 years ago, fusing Dub, Reggae, Afrobeat and Jazz, Soothsayers’ sound is deep, hypnotic and uplifting. Mixed with politically conscious lyrics and biting social commentary their heavy, joyful, dance inducing grooves are a much needed balm for these turbulent times.

With 11 albums under their belt and literally hundreds of festival appearances around the world Soothsayers have garnered a loyal following that continues to grow. They continue to record and release new music – their album We Are Many was released in 2020 on WahWah45s, and their latest album (Soothsayers Meets Victor Rice and Friends) is an instrumental collaboration with Brazilian dub producer/bass player Victor Rice, continuing their long history of collaborations with artists such as Johnny Clarke, Michael Prophet, Mad Professor, Cornell Campbell and Manasseh.

Be sure to book your tickets ahead of the event, but there may be some on the door. Please note this event will be held inside our marquee – do dress for a cool Autumnal evening. There will be a bar and an interval.
