TWO brilliant creatives at the top of their game local artist Tony Kerins who has spent his life documenting people and landscapes outside as they happen and is now unrivalled in his deftness and economy of line and yet enormity of expression and feeling. Plus stand-up poet, comedian and broadcaster, armchair revolutionary and walking shortbread tin, Elvis McGonagall who resides at The Graceland Caravan Park somewhere in the back of beyond where he scribbles satirical verse whilst drinking malt whisky and listening to Johnny Cash. Award winning poet, stand up and general absorber and expeller of this crazy thing called life.
Join Tony and Elvis in conversation at Sandy Hill Arts, in the Marquee, on Sunday the 6th of September at 4pm. They’ll talk about little black books, performing, and how words do one job and pictures another. Probably mention persona and our public figures. They’ll answer questions and hopefully laugh.
