Celeste is an integrated and intergenerational drama group made up of mentors from Vita Nova and people with English as a second language, including refugees and asylum seekers who have overcome real struggles.

Hopefool is a play for young people and adults that promotes peace in a time of conflict. For young people, who witness the horror of war from around the world on the news or through social media on a daily basis, it can lead people to undergo a sense of hopelessness . Hopefool is about reminding people that we do have a voice and we can make a difference however small in promoting unity and love.

The performance is free – and outdoors, so no need to book tickets but please dress for the weather! There will be no parking on site after 5pm – get in touch to book a space if you have mobility problems.  The Artful Salt Pig will be open until late afternoon – come early and have a picnic?  No bar this time though…
