PLAYWRIGHTS : ROHAN GOTOBED, ED VINEY, MILLIE HALDANE and ANNABEL WORSFOLD

MAIN PIC: Annabel Worsfold

ANNABEL WORSFOLD

Annabel Worsfold is a Dorset-based theatre maker, poet, and performer. She graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a First Class Honours degree in Performing Arts and has since developed a multidisciplinary practice rooted in storytelling, collaboration, and community engagement.

Annabel has performed in a wide range of productions and writes her own plays, which have been showcased at venues across Dorset, including Lighthouse Poole, The Corn Exchange, Talbot Woods, and The Factory Space. Alongside her creative work, she facilitates workshops with community groups, using theatre as a tool for connection and expression.

Passionate about supporting new work and underrepresented voices, Annabel co-founded In The Making, a scratch night dedicated to creating space for Dorset’s emerging artists to share work, experiment, and develop their practice.

MILLIE HALDANE

Millie Haldane is a writer from Glasgow, whose work focuses on masculinity, nationalism, and the terse relationship between the two. Having studied on the MA Drama Writing course at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she has had productions at the Edinburgh Fringe, various black boxes around Bristol and Scotland, and most recently enjoyed a collaboration with English Heritage and Insane Root Theatre Co at Temple Church, Bristol. Her work blends everyday realism with abstract and poetic narrative, with each piece having a unique voice and perspective.

Two siblings. One is charming, explosive, funny, horrible, delightful, frightening, wonderful. The other is Her. And she’s just alright.

PALS is a one woman show charting the relationship between Her, and her brother, exploring violence, masculinity, and what it would be like to live like him for the day.

ED VINEY

Ed Viney is a writer/director based in the South West.  He has worked with various theatres and organisations across the UK creating new contemporary work and staging revivals of classics or forgotten plays. (pic. Darren Britton)
