An outdoor, immersive sound and light performance exploring the Purbeck coast and its relationship with stone.

The Isle of Purbeck and its inhabitants are shaped by stone. Its buildings, coastline, people and activities are built from this unique material. This installation will explore the relationship between people and stone, asking us to reflect on what it means to be living surrounded by this ancient rock.

Join Ezra Gray and Giles W Bennett as they explore the rugged and raw landscape of the Isle of Purbeck using light, sound and materials collected from the local area. As dusk turns to night, listen and watch an outdoor immersive sound and light installation which uses the local area as its medium. The artists will be using field recordings, experimental digital and analog projections and live immersive performance to delve into this unique landscape.
