Planet Purbeck Festival 2023!

Delighted to be part of this third annual festival of arts and the environment.

We have once again a large Arty Bazaar – 15 new artists, craftspeople and environmental organisations with stalls dotted around the site, including in our new marquee (thank you, Arts Council England!), live music throughout the day with Rob Mills and the Trackside Cooptimists followed by Buzz Burrell and some guest artists, and of course the Arty Salt Pig will be open throughout the day with their range of hot and cold food, excellent coffee and cakes.

Lots of things to see, and some family activities too – there are arty bug hints starting at 11 and again at 2.  Join local expert Chris Spilling and artist Lizzie Brown exploring the undergrowth of our lovely, green Sandy Hill site and making art based on what you find.  Free, and no need to book – suitable for young families.

We also have an exciting exhibition Glass Needle in Room14 by two recent graduates of Goldsmiths with local connections.
