Felting is the oldest form of creating fabric. Learn about this age old, natural process from Sarah.
Find out about different natural fibres and the felting process to create your own piece of hanging art.
Felting occurs when natural fires such as wool and silks are exposed to water and friction. Wool fibres open and then close during the wet process.
This immersive, gentle, workshop lasting two and a half hours helps you explore texture, colour shape and composition drawing inspiration from the natural landscape to create your own unique piece of work.
Sarah has a mixed media background and has taught art and crafts for over twenty years.
